Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong experience in SAP BASIS administration.
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SAP HANA, and NetWeaver.
• Experience with OS administration (Linux, Unix, Windows).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms.
• SAP system refreshes, client copies, and transport management.
• Performance tuning and system monitoring tools.
• Understanding of security concepts, SAP authorizations, and audit compliance.

Leadership Responsibilities

• Lead and manage BASIS support teams.
• Resource planning and workload management.
• Stakeholder and vendor management.
• Service delivery governance and SLA management.
• Technical roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

SAP Certified Technology Associate or SAP HANA certifications preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead SAP BASIS support and operational activities across SAP environments (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.).
• Manage SAP system installations, upgrades, patches, kernel updates, and migrations.
• Ensure high system availability, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
• Monitor SAP landscapes and proactively resolve technical issues.
• Lead SAP HANA database administration activities, including backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security, network, and application teams.
• Manage transport landscape and change management processes.
• Drive disaster recovery (DR), business continuity, and high-availability initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, audits, and SAP best practices.
• Manage incident, problem, and service request resolution within SLA commitments.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for critical production issues.
• Mentor BASIS team members and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare operational reports, KPI dashboards, and executive updates.

• Service delivery governance and executive reporting.
• Client engagement and expectation management.
• Conflict resolution and issue escalation management.
• Program/project management experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Salary Range

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
