Job Description

Job Description

We’re hiring a Designer - Bags to join the LeSportsac design team in New York.

\n

This role is for a designer who can think across product, print, color, and collaboration. You are someone who understands how to take an idea from concept through development and turn it into a product that feels both relevant and unmistakably LeSportsac.

\n

\n

You’ll work closely with our Design Director and broader creative team across seasonal collections, new silhouettes, prints and graphics, collaborations, materials, and product development. We’re looking for someone with a strong point of view, a deep understanding of bags and construction, and the ability to balance creativity with commercial thinking.

\n

\n

Success in this role means translating LeSportsac's creative direction into bags that are distinctive, functional, commercially relevant, and recognizably LeSportsac. The Designer should be able to take a product from an initial sketch through CAD, technical development, print and material execution, sample review, and final approval while maintaining the integrity of the original idea.

\n

\n

The strongest person in this role should be equally comfortable designing a new silhouette, building a detailed tech pack, developing a print application, reviewing a factory sample, solving a construction issue, or executing a collaboration. They should understand both the creative vision of the collection and the technical discipline required to bring that vision into production.

\n

\n

This is a fully in-office position in New York.
