Norwood - CPA - Staff Level Accountant PermanentWe are seeking a licensed CPA to join our team preparing individual and business tax returns, along with compiled, reviewed and audited financial statements. This role is a strong fit for a CPA who enjoys hands-on preparation work, wants to build technical depth across tax and accounting engagements, and is looking for a firm that offers a genuinely manageable schedule, even during busy season.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare individual, business, and complex tax returnsPrepare compiled, reviewed and audited financial statementsAssist with client documentation, workpapers, and supporting schedulesResearch tax and accounting issues as they arise on engagementsCollaborate with reviewing managers/partners to incorporate feedback and finalize deliverablesMaintain compliance with firm quality control standards, GAAP, and applicable tax regulationsCommunicate with clients to gather information and resolve routine questionsQualificationsActive CPA license required3-5 years of public accounting experience preferredSolid understanding of tax law, GAAP, and financial statement preparationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamPay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid time offWork Location: In person
