You'll prep taxes in UltraTax, represent clients in IRS negotiations, and set up payment plans when the numbers don't cooperate.Job DutiesReview staff accountant work for accuracy and complianceConsult with clients on tax strategy and planning optimizationPrepare tax returns using UltraTax softwareRepresent clients in negotiations with IRS, FTB, and other tax authoritiesManage audit representation and establish payment plan arrangementsDevelop tailored tax strategies that cut tax liabilityWhat You NeedCPA Certification (required)Hands-on tax preparation and tax planning experienceProficiency in UltraTax or comparable tax prep softwareStrong client communication and consultation skills
